Our Story
At Nuvotronics, we build high-performance RF and mmWave components designed to perform in the most demanding environments. Using our proprietary PolyStrata® microfabrication technology, we deliver everything from discrete passive components to highly integrated, multi-functional RF devices — all engineered for ultra-low loss, high isolation, and robust power handling in compact, surface-mountable form factors. Our manufacturing processes support high-volume, repeatable production, backed by a rigorous quality management system certified to AS9100D. This ensures every product we ship meets the stringent requirements of commercial, aerospace, and defense applications — and earns the trust our customers place in us.
Our Facility & Manufacturing Capabilities
Located in Durham, North Carolina, just minutes from Research Triangle Park, our main facility is purpose-built to help customers accelerate time to market. We operate a vertically integrated, 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility that brings design, fabrication, assembly, and test together in a single secure location — enabling shorter lead times, tighter process control, and lower manufacturing costs.
Our in-house capabilities include:
- 35,000-square-foot cleanroom supporting advanced microfabrication
- High-volume production lines for 8-inch wafers and 14 × 14-inch panel substrates
- Component and module design & assembly expertise from DC to 300 GHz
- Full RF and mmWave test capability up to 110 GHz
- Infrastructure designed for ITAR and classified programs
- DoD Category 1A Trusted IC Supplier for post-processing, packaging, and assembly services
